Luis Henrique Teixeira Baldez

CEO

Executive President of ANUT since 2010, he has been President and Member of several Boards of Directors and Fiscal Councils in companies such as CEAGESP, CODESP, CODOMAR, USIMINAS, AÇOS FINOS PIRATINI (RS), ALUNORTE (CVRD), DOCEGEO (CVRD), among others, and was also President of the Port Authority Council of the Port of Itaqui.

He served as Special Advisor to the Minister of Transport with responsibility for strategic planning of the country’s transport logistics, and as Secretary of Land Transport at the Ministry of Transport, where he was in charge of regulating and supervising the road and rail freight and passenger sectors.

He was an advisor to the Planning Department of the State of São Paulo, responsible for the institutional and financial modeling of the 2nd Stage of the State’s Road Concessions Program, and Administrative and Financial Director of CONAB – Companhia Nacional de Abastecimento, in Brasília.

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Maranhão School of Engineering, with specializations in Project Planning, Elaboration and Analysis from the World Bank and in Structuring, Analysis and Regulation of Infrastructure Concession Projects.

Renato Voltaire Barbosa Araujo

Chief Operating Officer

Renato Voltaire B. Araujo is the Operational Director of ANUT – the National Association of Freight Transport Users.
He has been operational director for more than 20 years, developing technical and institutional relations activities linked to Brazilian logistics in its various modes – rail, road, shipping and ports.
He has a degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from PUC/Rio, postgraduate studies at Petrobrás and IRI-Italy, as well as several other extension courses.

He has more than 40 years of diversified experience in infrastructure and basic industries (transportation, oil and gas, mining and steel).

He began his career as an engineer at Petrobrás (1974 to 1979) and then, among other positions, he was Project Manager of Carajás at VALE (1980 to 1988), Executive of the Brazil Steel Institute (1989 to 1994), Director of CEG – Cia.
Distribuidora de Gás do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (1995 to 1998) and Secretary General of the Rio de Janeiro State Regulatory Agency (1999 to 2001).

He has international experience, having lived in Italy and for periods in the USA, as well as being part of various Brazilian negotiating missions to the USA, the European Community and Mercosur.

He continues to provide consultancy services and at the beginning of his career he was also a university lecturer at PUC/Petrópolis.

Christian Souza

Operational Manager

At ANUT since 2012, the operational manager is active in supporting the logistics, administrative, financial and technological aspects of the organization, as well as interacting with members.

With a degree in Systems Analysis from the Fluminense Federal University in 2008 and Logistics from the Estácio de Sá University in 2021, he has several specialization courses in logistics such as Multimodal Integration, Leadership Tools, Procurement and Inventory Management, Virtual Logistics, ICMS and Logistics Cost Management.

He has extensive experience in vocational and technical courses, where he taught network management, graphic design, web design and systems development in Visual Basic for more than 10 years, after which he became the pedagogical coordinator. He has taught several extension courses for employees of the Receita Federal, Bradesco, Unafisco Sindical and various city halls. He was an adjunct professor in Computer Science at Faculdade Cenecista de Itaboraí and Network Management at Estácio de Sá University in Niterói in 2009 and 2010.

André Aguiar

Technical Manager

At ANUT since 2021, he has been working in the logistics sector for 11 years, on infrastructure projects and programs, transport modeling, regulatory analysis and transport infrastructure studies, and in institutional liaison with the federal and state governments and private enterprise.

With experience as Coordinator and Superintendent in the Logistics Sub-Secretariat of the RJ State Transport Secretariat, he took part in the development of the RJ Strategic Logistics and Freight Plan, the PMI Operational Technical Committee for modeling the concession/PPP of state highways, the preparation of the 21st Century Port of Rio Program and other strategic studies. In addition to this experience, he has served as chairman of the Fiscal Council of the state-owned company, Central Logística, and as a representative of the Department of Transportation on the Permanent Council for Economic Development Policies in Rio de Janeiro.

He has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the same institution and an MBA in Business Logistics from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
