{"id":64307,"date":"2023-09-11T09:55:59","date_gmt":"2023-09-11T12:55:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anut.org.br\/antt-opens-new-period-for-contributions-to-review-policy-on-minimum-freight-rates\/"},"modified":"2024-09-17T16:37:06","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T19:37:06","slug":"antt-opens-new-period-for-contributions-to-review-policy-on-minimum-freight-rates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anut.org.br\/en\/antt-opens-new-period-for-contributions-to-review-policy-on-minimum-freight-rates\/","title":{"rendered":"ANTT opens new period for contributions to review policy on minimum freight rates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The online form for carriers to participate is now available and can be filled out until September 22<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/antt\/pt-br\/assuntos\/ultimas-noticias\/antt-abre-novo-periodo-de-contribuicoes-para-revisao-da-politica-de-pisos-minimos-de-frete\/ale8733.jpg\/@@images\/7838c675-4332-40af-9115-4758d1964e36.jpeg\" alt=\"ale8733.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p>The National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) has started a new period for contributions to the draft revision of the National Policy on Minimum Freight Rates for Road Freight Transport (PNPM-TRC), established by Law No. 13.703\/2018.\nHauliers who want to contribute can fill in the online form <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/9Xu7iecYna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">by clicking here<\/a>.\nIt will be available from Tuesday (September 5) until September 22.  <\/p>\n\n<p>By using the form, the Agency intends to collect data to help update specific inputs in the spreadsheet.\nThe online form is made up of around 11 questions about the characteristics of transport operations, such as mileage traveled and vehicle maintenance costs, among others.\nThe estimated average response time is 5 minutes.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Since the publication of ANTT Resolution No. 5,820\/2018, which initially established the methodology to be applied in the calculation and published the table with the minimum floors, ANTT has carried out biannual reviews of this methodology, consolidated by current ANTT Resolution No. 5,867\/2020.\nAmong the research tools defined for primary data collection is the application of a form to hauliers, which is the stage the project is at now. <\/p>\n\n<p>The project began with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/antt\/pt-br\/assuntos\/ultimas-noticias\/antt-realiza-tomada-de-subsidios-para-revisao-de-resolucao-de-pisos-minimos-de-frete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Subsidy Call No. 02<\/a>, which closed on July 21.\nWith it, ANTT gathered initial contributions from market agents on the current methodology.\nA Public Hearing is also planned for November, through which market players will again be able to make contributions.\nANTT&#8217;s goal is to publish the new revised standard by January 2024.   <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>National Minimum Freight Floor Policy<\/strong> &#8211; Under Law No. 13.703\/2018, which establishes the PNPM-TRC, the Agency must ordinarily publish a new table with the updated minimum freight floor coefficients by January 20 and July 20 of each year, with the aim of ensuring that hauliers receive fair remuneration for their services.\nIn addition, the ANTT is responsible for readjusting the freight table when the variation in the price of diesel is equal to or greater than 5%, when the trigger mechanism is activated. <\/p>\n\n<p>To find out more about the National Policy on Minimum Freight Rates for Road Freight Transportation (PNPM-TRC), just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.br\/antt\/pt-br\/assuntos\/cargas\/politica-nacional-de-pisos-minimos-de-frete\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Source: ANTT<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The online form for carriers to participate is now available and can be filled out until September 22 The National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) has started a new period for contributions to the draft revision of the National Policy on Minimum Freight Rates for Road Freight Transport (PNPM-TRC), established by Law No. 13.703\/2018.
