of the economy and the movement of cargo from the mid-1990s onwards, logistics became a determining factor in the competitiveness of the country&#8217;s productive and commercial segments.<\/p>\n\n<p>At the same time, the country&#8217;s transport systems began to show signs of exhaustion, making the need for greater investment, revitalization and modernization of the various modes evident.<\/p>\n\n<p>Against this backdrop, leading industrial and agribusiness companies decided to defend their interests in logistics by founding ANUT at the end of 2002.<\/p>\n\n<p>Today, the Association is a consolidated entity, with more than 20 years of intensive activity, and is recognized as the most representative of the cargo transport user segment in the country.<\/p>\n\n<p>It is made up of 30 large companies, which are responsible for a large part of the relevant cargo transported in Brazil, grouped into the following Sector
