ANUT’s Sustainability WG organized a technical visit to the Scania plant in São Bernardo do Campo on April 29, coordinated by Operational Director Renato Voltaire and Technical Manager André Aguiar, with the participation of Aço Cearense, ArcelorMittal, Braskem, CBA, Cenibra, Eldorado and Usiminas, with a total of 17 visitors.
The opportunity allowed us to be presented with the strategy for introducing alternative fuel trucks to the market and the initiative to produce the new high-efficiency diesel engine.
We visited the plant’s various factories, where we were introduced to cutting-edge technologies and Industry 4.0.
It was also possible to see Scania’s logistics network and the inbound and outbound Control Tower systems.
Visitors were also able to experience the performance of the top-of-the-line vehicles on the test track, where they drove and got an impression of the diesel and CNG-powered vehicles.
