ANTT hosts event Pact for National Infrastructure and Logistics Efficiency 2023

The event is being held at the Agency for the sixth time

On Tuesday, the National Land Transport Agency (ANTT) hosted the first day of the event Pact for National Infrastructure and Logistics Efficiency – PANEL 2023, held by the Besc Institute for Humanities and Economics in the Eliseu Resende auditorium at the ANTT headquarters in Brasilia. Today and tomorrow (22), the event brings together representatives from the public and private sectors and academia to debate important issues in the field of infrastructure and logistics. In addition, awards will be given to professionals, companies and bodies that have stood out for their performance and their products/services.

The director general of ANTT, Rafael Vitale, made up the opening panel and stressed the importance of understanding national infrastructure and logistics as a state policy and, to this end, the importance of regulatory agencies for the development of the sector. “Strengthening regulatory agencies contributes to the development of the country’s infrastructure, as they were designed to ensure continuity and stability, even when there is a change of government,” he said.

In addition to Vitale, the opening ceremony was attended by the president of the Besc Institute, Jussara Pinheiro; the president of the National Transport Confederation (CNT) and honorary president of Panel 2023, Vander Costa; the thematic coordinator of PAINEL 2023, Aurélio Murta; the director of Portonave, Osmari de Castilho; and the executive director and institutional relations of the Brazilian Association of Port Terminals (ABTP), Cláudia Borges.

The second day of the event can be followed on YouTube from 1pm.
