CTLOG - Thematic Chamber of Infrastructure and Logistics of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply

History of the Chamber:

The Thematic Chamber on Agribusiness Infrastructure and Logistics was set up on September 29, 2005, at the Palácio da Liberdade, in Belo Horizonte (MG), in the presence of the then Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Roberto Rodrigues, the Secretary of Agriculture of the State of Minas Gerais, Federal Deputy Silas Brasileiro and the Governor of the State of Minas Gerais, Aécio Neves. At the ceremony, the Minister appointed the representative of the National Association of Freight Transport Users – ANUT, Paulo Manoel Lenz Cesar Protasio, as President of the Chamber, and the representative of the Secretariat for Agricultural Development and Cooperativism of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply – SDC/MAPA, Biramar Nunes de Lima, as Executive Secretary. On the occasion of the first ordinary meeting, the Minister’s appointments to Chair and Secretary the Chamber were endorsed by the Chamber’s plenary.
The Chamber is made up of 63 bodies and entities and was officially created with the publication of Ordinance No. 27, of January 18, 2006, later amended by Ordinance No. 168, of June 20 of the same year.
